Tagging doesn’t work

I am unable to get Facebook name tagging to work with FB Comments, if anyone has been successful at it please reply. What I would like to see is that when a commenter names a friend in a comment, and clicks on ‘post on Facebook’ then the comment gets added to the friend’s news feed. This works on some sites, such as on espn.com so I know this is possible.
