Tags (and others) lost after upgrading

    Hello:

    I’ve been through the forums, but cannot find anything on losing tags (and I see now, other links like “Older entries” after upgrading. In a previous version of WP, tags were linked under:
    ?tag=japan
    for example. Now everything is organized into folders
    /tag/japan
    When I did my last upgrade, I did not see the modified upgrade instructions. I have always changed the name of my blog’s directory, uploaded the new version of WP and modified the wp-config file. That means now all of the directories with tags, etc. are gone. Is there a way to restore them? I cannot get my site backup to cooperate.

    Never mind! User error! I failed to set up the .htaccess correctly. All is well with the world. ??
