Tags being generated although I didn’t create

    I recently created a new site, [removed redundant link] but I have problems with tags being generated, yet I know too well that I did not create them. The tags are over 80. This is causing crawl errors. They are indexed in the search console but, when I visit them, I get “Oops, we could not find the requested page. Sorry!” I would like to know if there is a solution before I redirect them to existing pages and hopefully eliminate the errors.

    If you look at posts->all posts, do you see the tags applied to posts?

    On second thought, looking at your site, I don’t see any tagged content. Do you have any tags created under POSTS->Tags?

    Finding links in the search console just means that your site has been searched on the tag, not that the tag actually exists or that there are links on your site to the tag.

    Thank you. I was just worried with the crawl errors that I was seeing in my search console for tags that I did not create. I will continue monitoring and see how it goes.
