Tags can be removed but not added

Sorry to hear about the issue. I think you may have the trigger and action reversed in your message, and based on my understanding, it sounds like your recipe looks something like this: https://cln.sh/5m7RVg1K. Can you confirm? If so, this recipe does work as expected in our test environments and the tag is added as expected on post updated. Seeing the recipe in a screenshot with all details expanded would help us to better understand what’s happening.

I have that exact recipe but strangely enough, it doesn’t add the tag.
If I change the taxonomy to category it works perfectly.
If I set it to tag but “remove” instead of “add” it works too.

For the sake of debugging I tried with several tags, but none worked.
I tested in 2 different severs and one sandbox (tastewp.com)

Our developers took a look at your feedback and we did identify an issue on our side in some situations.

We uploaded a copy of the fix to https://we.tl/t-L3mhmscEaC. It should be uploaded to the following location by FTP, replacing the existing version:
wp-content/plugins/uncanny-automator-pro/src/integrations/wp/actions/wp-settaxonomy.php

We’ll get that change included in the next Automator release. Let us know if you still have issues after that update.
