Tags, Date, and more above and under posts

    Hello again.

    I’d like to achieve a look that was easy with TwentyTwenty and your Options, but is proving difficult with Twenty Seventeen and Options Premium: the Category name above each post (can be excluded on the Category page) and the choice of Tags, Date, and more, below a post. With Seventeen, the below-post info only appears on the page of each individual post (and doesn’t look attractive with that font, caps, and spaced far from the bottom of the post).

    Is that something you can help with?

    Just to confirm, you’d like the following options …

    1) Ability to choose what post meta to show on archive pages above / below the posts (tags, categories, date/time, author)
    2) Ability to choose what post meta to show on single post pages above and / or below the post (tags, categories, date/time, author)
    3) Style post meta (font size, weight, color, text align) above and / or below the post
    4) Adjust margin above bottom post meta.

    Let me know if that covers it and I’ll add it to the “to do” list.

    We have an update.

    The authors of the Twenty Twenty theme added filters to the theme so that different post meta elements can be turned on and off in the post header and footer.

    Unfortunately, the authors of Twenty Seventeen have not done this so the requests (1) and (2) above will not be possible.

    We will have an update on points (3) and (4) above soon.

    We have just pushed an update to include styling of Post Meta (font size, colour, text align, font weight, text transform).

    That’s amazing service. Thank you.

    It’s too bad that WP doesn’t go a little further so that this simple look can be obtained in a simple manner. I started with TwentyTwenty, but had issues making the header as in my previous question. I guess I’ll play around some more and figure out what to do…
