Tags from custom field

    Is it possible to use a custom field as yoast’s tags? Like, the custom field already containing comma separated words and yoast automatically gets the tags by reading that field

    Probably but I’d need more information on what you are trying to do so I can point you to the correct documentation. So far, I understand that you want to create (or already have created) a custom field that contains a comma separated list of tags. Once Yoast SEO sees this custom field, what do you want the plugin to do with it?

    Can you please explain what you mean specifically by Yoast’s tags? Are you referring to some part of the metadata or the post’s tags?
