Tags Not Being Passed to MC

    I have tags set up in MC and they are being pulled into the plugin. I have added three tags to a form as hidden fields. I have double opt-in set up. They are not being passed to the contact in MC. They DO get assigned to the group, but not tagged. Please help.

    Unfortunately, the Mailchimp API does not support tags with double opt-in. They only support it with single opt in.

    We’ll keep checking in to see if they allow it in the future.

    Ah, thank you. I will switch to single opt in then. I like that even better. Less user friction.

    Hmmm, I am working on another site now, and have set up the form for single optin, and the tags do not pass to mc. I have tried clearing the API cache, incognito window, everything I can think of to no avail.

    @2chicks when you say the tags aren’t passing so you mean they not updating in mailchimp or is this a new subscriber?
