Try switching to a default (twentythirteen) theme to see if it works there. You should also be aware that the theme you are using is not released under the GPL licensing requirements of WP – so it’s not supported here at all. I’d strongly suggest you find another theme ASAP. Here’s more info on why:

Oh, dear…I just payed to have this site created, it is specifically for marketing this property. This is the reason the developer used it.
This project was in development for way to long now and our busy season is at hand. Is there another way to resolve my issue?Richard Sher
.Rats, that’s certainly an unfortunate situation.
Did you try testing it on a default theme – to see if it IS, in fact, a theme problem?
IF so, this really is something you’d need to ask the developer who did the site for you and/or the theme vendor.
Even aside from the GPL issue, these forums only provide theme-specific help for themes downloaded from here:
https://www.ads-software.com/themes/
In the case of commercial themes, we don’t have access to them so really have no way to help – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products
OK, Gone through four different developers so far. I drag my self down this long dirt road one more time.
Richard
.is there a way to stop the developer from removing or disabling my site?
Can they change the password with out my consent.I have changed the password on WP but I am worried that I’m being taken for a ride again.OK, I figured out with the help of a friend how to display TAGS!
The theme is not the problemWhat follows is my best attempt to define where I’m at and my thirst for a clearly illuminated direction:
I have worked with the aid of a friend to resolve most of my immediate questions…all pertaining to managing the site casacanopy.com a web site I thought would be useful if not necessary to launch my marketing effort aimed at renting the home I own and manage.
I feel like I’m emerging from a dust cloud of misinformation about what is really important in an online presence, specifically for the purpose of attracting and capturing qualified customers. I am effectively using VRBO, this site is my way to extend beyond what is currently in place.
Now I am starting to grasp that the integration of Facebook, linked-in, Pinterest and Google+ (circles) are what will bring me what I’m looking for, client bookings. Being masterful at integrating these social network resources appears more meaningful that what SEO delivers from blogging, meta tags, key words, pay for clicks.
I’m am a newbe so this post is the distillation of one very long and disappointing week of being ignored by the person I payed. Final payment demanded before my questions will be addressed by a guy that as it now appears must of spent just enough time to download WP, install a theme that is not active as it was never paid for (although it shows up as functional) the installation of a SEO plugin called Yost, a few paragraphs of text written about my home the rest copied from VRBO (www.vrbo.com/426521) and the photos of the home which I supplied. No Training is being offered by the developer at this time nor emails answering my questions like “how do I make my TAGS show up on the site?” or where is the background picture changed and would you please change the font styling.
This is the fourth person I have hired to build my site, it shucks…I should have put in the time and patience from the start instead of wasting valuable time and money.
I’d certainly be frustrated too with that kind of situation and behavior of developers – I’m sorry to hear of such a bad experience.
But it also doesn’t change that we don’t have access to the theme you are using and it’s not one that we can help with (the GPL license issue is a deal-breaker, sorry to say) – so that greatly limits the help available here.
If I were you, I’d switch to a theme that is supported here – in the long run you’ll be better off you’d really be better off getting rid of a theme that has encrypted links and who knows what other “bad stuff.”
Can you indicate if either of these two themes are supported:
1.Dandelion
By Pexeto2. Sky
By Elegant ThemesI’ll work at it..then I’ll be back.
Richard
Is there a temporary location like a sandbox to alter the theme in order to preserve my work Or is this what backups is for?
Thanks;
Richard .
Me again;
Would you please reply to the last two posts of mine.
I’ll purchase a GPL theme, I’ll do anything to become proficient at WordPress. Generating income from this property is my only way to earn money. Kids in College -you understand.
Also..it looks like social media content management is a skill I must learn. Is this your opinion as well?.Richard
.First try selecting a theme from https://www.ads-software.com/themes/
ok
Would you have a recommendation for a real estate site.
I’ve purchased for themes already and it look like non of them are suitable based on your comments.I own these as I mentioned:

.I’m sorry but as these are commercial themes, we cannot comment on their suitability. We do not support commercial products here.
Alright
thank youRichard
