  • @kjellkk — I’m open to any ideas as to how tags should be part of the algorithm at this point, as I continue to work on this feature locally. Can you explain what you mean by “counting 5 points”? I’d love to hear what you have in mind.

Tag consideration will come out in 2.0, sooner rather than later. 1.5 will be out before then to take care of some code-housecleaning and simplify plugin installation for new users.

    Great going micho.

My thought with the points is to have it so (or an option to the effect) that using the same tag for two entries will ensure that they get related through this plugin.

Not sure if that’s practical, but just now I thought of a list of settings somewhat how it’s done for Spamassassain etc. Where the admin can set how many points it should give for content being similar in various parts of the post/page. Eg.

    Body: 2
    Title: 4
    Category: 3
    Tag: 5

Then if someone want’s to have the plugin not use category or title relevance they can set those to zero.

Hope I’m making sence – I do very much like your plugin. And love the AJAX “tell me more” links.

Moving to the general options page was a good move!

I’m introducing version 2.0 in the next day or two: it has a new algorithm which takes tags and categories into account. Look forward to it!
