Tags showing up empty, but Posts have tags

  • I have just imported blog posts from an existing site and am getting strange trouble with the tags.

    I first noticed that the tag cloud on this page shows up empty — which was odd because I knew the posts had tags associated with them on the original site.

    I confirmed that the posts do have tags associated with them. Also, if I try searching for posts by tag, I get the correct list of posts.

    However, if I look at the tag list, they all say they have zero posts associated with them.

    I am not sure what gives. Is my database corrupt? How do I fix this?

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    Thank you so much. I should have mentioned that I tried that. Disabling all plugins and using Twenty Twenty made no difference. The problem persisted.

    Imported from another self-hosted www.ads-software.com site? What was the version of WP on that site?

    Did you import to an self-hosted www.ads-software.com site? What the version of WP on this new site?
