Tags: Special charakters / vowel mutations are removed

    First of all: Thanks for creating WP Telegram! It worked – and works – just fine.

    Although: Since around May 8th. there seems to be a change. All special charakters and vowel mutations in the tags are removed, when published.

    That way “?V” (public transport) gets just “V”. “Lüneburg” gets “Lneburg”. “Mobilit?t” (mobility) gets “Mobilitt”, “Fu?verkehr” gets “Fuverkehr”.
    That’s a bit annoying. The towns name just is Lüneburg. And the tags get pointless that way.

    I′m not 100 percent sure, that change is because of a change in WP Telegram.
    What do you think: Could it be the reason or have I to look elsewhere?
    What can i do, to get my tags back in the customary spelling?

    Sorry about not getting back to you in time. We did investigate the issue but everything worked perfectly for us for all those special characters you mentioned. So, we will need to look deeper into this.

    Thus, I request you to please enable both logs in Advanced Settings of WP Telegram and try again. Then share the log links with our support on Telegram – @WPTelegramSupport.

    Please do not share the logs here on the public forum.

    yes, did that.

    Now I wonder: Is there another way to reach you? An online form for example?
    (I’m using Element desktop version of telegram)

    I absolutely totally confused something here … WP Telegram works just fine.
