Tags visible for SEO. Yes or No?

  • I have my theme set to display the post tags but I noticed that with the tags showing along with the category, the “Leave A comment” text is just hidden among the rest of the text there and my site relies heavily on comments. If I were to hide the tags, would it hurt my SEO a lot? If not, then I’ll just hide them. What are you guys’ thoughts on this?

  • I don’t think that your tags will make much of a difference. Google ranks the page title and content (bulk content i.e. actual article) much higher.
