    Some our our users are finding that it takes multiple attempts to sign in. I’ve tested it myself and the correct password is definitely being used each time but it takes 3-4 attempts to successfully login.

    I’m using port 389 with TLS disabled. I’ve also increased the LDAP network timeout from 5 seconds to 15, this hasn’t made any difference though.

    Is there anything that you can suggest please?

  • Hi, how did u managed that issue? I am getting the same issue. In order to login, the users need to attempt something like 6 times because they get “Password wrong”.

    Hi,

    The only way I found that I could resolve this was to enable the “Fallback to local password” option on the security tab.

    Since enabling this we have not experienced the problem again.
