    There are popup forms and some other forms powered by FORMINATOR on this website.

    All of them are taking 6-7 seconds to submit.

    Is there a way to rectify this?

    As of now, I am not using any caching plugin on website.

    Hi @kunalagg04

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for contacting us.

    I visited the site and tried to submit one of the forms – the one under “Book a free consultation” button (note: please ignore my submission, from “Adam WPMU”).

    I could see that it took long to get it submitted. It’s a simple form and should not take that long in any case, meaning that there must be some additional issue/factor involved. I didn’t notice any errors in browser console, though.

    Let me ask:

    1. these forms are set (in “Behavior” settings under “Method” option) to be submitted using “Ajax”, right? Does it change anything if you switch it to “Page Reload”?

    2. do you have any anti-spam integrations set for them (Akismet and/or CleanTalk AntiSpam)?

    3. do you have any other integrations currently enabled – if yes, which ones?

    4. I’m assuming you do have some e-mail notifications configured – could you test on one of affected forms if it also takes that long if you remove e-mail notifications from the form?

    That last question is related to some cases that I’ve came across where malfunctioning/incorrectly configured mail settings (some SMTP plugin or mailing system at host level) caused delays in e-mail processing in a way that was blocking plugin scripts execution so that’s something worth checking.

    Let us know (about all four questions) please and we’ll see what to do next to get it solved.
