Taking a long time to run

    Hello,

    Simply static is taking a long time to generate, currently the activity log shows 800++ files, and sometimes takes up to 30 minutes, is this normal? I notice it sometimes also gets stuck, where it will create the zip, and it will get stuck at the “wrapping up”stage. I have set up to trigger the generate static upon any page/post published using the add_action(‘publish_page’, ‘generate_static’), and the generate_static function. How can I resolve this? Thank you for your help.

    Hello @jameswithsupersonic,

    Slow build times can occur for a variety of reasons including complexity of your site, size of the assets, and available resources on your server, to name a few. The best way to determine if something in your environment is increasing the time needed to create an export, I would suggest disabling all active plugins and custom code, and one by one enabling each item while performing an export after each activation.
