Taking it live from WAMP Server

Sorry in advance as I’m sure this has been asked a million times. I have spent a good number of hours working on a local copy of WordPress in WAMP Server 2. I am using Dreamweaver CS5 to manage the site (using both remote and testing servers). While my themes and plugins show up just fine on the remote version, css customizations, posts, categories, tags, images don’t. I have tried this several times with no luck. For example, I bought a third party theme, which I did modify. But it shows up only as the original, unmodified theme. Surely this is an old problem with a solution? Thanks.
