Taking too long to post a comment

  • On my blog, It takes a while for me to post a comment on my blog but everything else is pretty fast. Can someone please tell me what is slowing down the comment posting?…

  • Are you using pingbacks or trackbacks in your post? If you are, this can slow down posting as WP attempts to notify the URLs that are being pinged and then it loads your post into the database.
