  • sorry i don’t have a great answer, but probably you can use CSS to make the button appear lined-up.

By the way another cool plugin I have been looking at for an mp3 player on-site is this:
    https://www.mightyseek.com/podpress/
    Which is the best?

Thanks for the suggestion, I kinda figured CSS was the problem.
Now I just need a starting point. I’ve looked at CSS a little, but I’m basically ignorant. I’m going to be on a crash course through the process of fixing this.

Basically, even though the player in the podpress plugin is more feature-ful than Taragana’s player, the simpler one is much better for me because of the way I’m using audio on my site.

The problem with the fancy podpress player is flash. If you look at my home page, https://andyford.org, then look at your CPU usage, you’ll notice that it’s through the roof.
Taragana’s won’t do that (I think) because it’s only an image till you hit play, then it turns into a flash player.

If you’re not putting 10 or 20 players on a page, it’s OK, but I am.
