Tax being charged?

    Hi,

    We currently have a tax rate entered for NY only, however all orders (within or outside NY) processed via this Woocommerce Paypal Express plugin are being charged tax?

    We have tax calculated based on the customers billing address in the settings. Is the shipping address sent from Paypal back to the woocommerce shipping address field?

    Do you know what may cause the state to not be correctly identified and tax charged when it should not be?

    Hey there,

    It sounds like your tax rates aren’t set up correctly in WooCommerce. You can check this by testing with different billing addresses and seeing what is shown on the checkout page. The tax should be based on the billing address, based on what you’ve filled in.

    If that doesn’t work out, can you please show me what your tax settings look like?
