    Hello there,
1-) I set the Tax Rate as 18. However, underestimation is done. I wonder why it can be caused?
    For example, not $ 18 for $ 100; It calculates $ 15.25.

2-) I want the following words to be displayed in Cart and Checkout page: $ 100 ($ 18 including tax) or Tax $ 18.
Is this possible ? That is, the customer will not see anything about the tax on the “cart page” and “checkout page”.

  • How have you got the ‘Prices entered with tax’ options set in Settings-Tax?

If it’s ‘Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax’ then that calculation is correct.

$100 INCLUDES 18% tax so the product price is:

    $84.75 + 18% ($15.25) = $100

For it to be $18 then you need to have the option set to ‘No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax’

I’ve seen this. However, I got it wrong. Problem is solved. Thank you so much.
Do you have a solution for problem 2?

    Hi @loopforever,

As for #2, if you want your checkout to show $100 (incl. X tax), you can do so by setting prices in the cart and checkout to be displayed including tax.

You should be able to do this from WooCommerce → Settings → Tax

Let us know if this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hello,
    I think you misunderstood me.

This should not appear on the checkout page or in the cart page in either case, tax excluded or tax included. Please view the image.

Thanks @loopforever for getting back and for elaborating on your query.

Regarding hiding the taxes charged, well, it’s just not how WooCommerce works so you won’t find such a setting.

When you’ve charged tax on your products, it has to be shown somewhere. Else, it might be confusing to the customer why they are suddenly paying more than what you advertised and it may also look fraudulent to tax authorities.

    Therefore,

    • You can adjust the settings at WooCommerce → Settings → Tax on where to show the taxes in the cart/checkout but eventually, the taxes should be shown.
    • You might consider the option of disabling taxes altogether (at WooCommerce → Settings → General) so that they are not charged or displayed on your store.

    I hope this clarifies.
