• Hello

I want my store apply one tax rate for France, and a tax-free rate for other countries.
So I created the tax, applied it to the products.

I’ve set France as the default country, tax based on shipping country.

This works perfectly in the checkout process, but before checkout, the store prices are displayed without tax, not including tax (based on the default country).

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

Have you see your checkout settings. They allow to display or hide taxes.

    Best regards

    Hi,

The checkout is fine and displays the taxes right (tax for France, no tax abroad).

But before checkout, the store displays the prices without tax. I would like the French tax to be always added to the prices displayed before checkout.

I thought the ? Set base country for your eCommerce ? = France would apply the French tax to all the prices in the store before checkout.
Then ? Tax based on ? = Shipping Address would calculate the tax at checkout.
But it doesn’t seem to work that way.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

To display taxes always, you have to set in TheCartPRess settings, Display prices with taxes.

    Best regards

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer.

You’ll find my settings in the screenshots linked below. I had indeed set “Display prices with taxes”.

    But with these settings :
    – prices in the store are displayed without tax when I would want them to be displayed with French tax.
    – during checkout, prices are correctly displayed with tax for France, without tax for other countries.
