    Hello, I don’t understand why the cart always showing up $0. I’m not sure what I did wrong.

  • The way you have setup your standard rates table, the user must type their city field exactly as you have put in the table.

    I entered US, FL, 32050, CLAY COUNTY and tax was shown after a short ajax call. Clay County works, so the city field is not case sensitive. Just Clay or Clay Cty doesn’t work, because there is no match. The user has no hint that they must use Clay County.

    So, does any single zip contain more than one city, where each of those cities has different tax rate. I expect not. So your city column could be all * (the wildcard) then you are not relying on the customer using exactly the same string for their city field that you have in the standard rates table.
