Tax Is Calculating Incorrectly

  • It seems you’ve only got tax calculating on the shipping charges of $59, so perhap it’s not set up properly.

    Go into your WooCommerce settings
    You need to have both country and the state set up first
    Then:
    Click on the “TAX” tab
    Click on “Standard Rates” (below the TAX tab)

    You should have the following set up for Michigan taxes
    Country: US
    State: MI
    Zip: *
    City: *
    Rate: 6.0000 (%)
    Tax Name: Michigan (6%)
    Priority: 1
    Compound: (don’t select)
    Shipping: (select this)

    That should do it.
