Hey, we are charging German tax (19%) on our products.

Products in WooCommerce are shown including taxes. This works fine with Stripe, but when I try to pay via Paypal with your plugin (sandbox mode), the price without tax is submitted to Paypal.

For example: the product costs €34.90, paypal charges only €29.33. This amount is also shown on the confirmation mail.

Where do I have to change this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thank you for reaching out. Before we proceed with support, I’d like to address a few points to ensure we’re on the same page:

    1. You initially left a one-star review stating the plugin didn’t work because it wouldn’t connect to your PayPal account.
    2. You then changed the rating to five stars, but left the original negative title and review text in place.
    3. You’re now seeking support for a plugin that, according to your review, “does not work.”
    4. However, I can see a working and connected PayPal plugin on the site you’ve linked.

Given these contradictions, I’m finding it challenging to understand your current situation and needs. Could you please clarify:

Your answers will help me provide more accurate and effective assistance.

it first did Not work at all. Thats true.

Perhaps my english is Not good enough.

    We have This Problem:

    User has to Pay 34,90€

via Paypal it only demands 29,33€

    The tax is missing.

This is what your checkout page shows, there is no tax included in the cart total.

The PayPal plugin sends the order’s total and tax values directly to PayPal so if those values are missing in PayPal, that means they’re missing from WooCommerce.

If you’re using a 3rd party plugin for any tax calculations, I’d look there first as part of your troubleshooting.

Ah thats interesting input! On our side the tax is included even in the screenshot you made.

But it seems like it is a regional problem, that if you not in Germany, the tax is not included. And perhaps Paypal then get the wrong value. We changed the setting to “always include tax”, it looks better now.
