Tax line not displaying in checkout

At the end of my checkout screen, it appears as though the tax is being added somewhere, but it’s not displaying the line with the tax amount anywhere. Under “Review and Purchase” it only shows the Shipping Amount and the grand total (with tax added). I’d just like my customers to be able to see the price of the tax.
On the tax tab in admin I have:
[checked] Product prices are tax exclusive – add tax to the price during checkout
[checked] Add per product tax to tax percentage if product has a specific tax rate
[checked] Apply tax when Billing and Shipping Country is the same as Tax Rate
..and the tax rate is 5.75%Thanks!
