    Hello,

I am using an old version of this plug in (Version 1.7.5.2 – WordPress 4.2.29) as when I update the plugin my wordpress site stops working and gives a status 500 error. This has happened a few times and I’ve had such a nightmare to FTP over an old version of the plugin to recover each time so we stick with the old version for the moment.
I am picking up from an old problem my former colleague raised almost 6 years ago:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/tax-added-twice/

The tax appears to be applied twice and has to be manually changed on the back end each time.
National shipping is 10 euro including VAT at 21 percent. So I have it in at 8.26 in your plugin but it is calculated as 42 percent??
I have provided screen shots here:

I would be eternally grateful if you could help me.

    Many thanks
    David

Can you try to update to the latest version?

    Kind regards.

    Hi,
I tried again to update last night and the whole site stopped working.
    Even wp-admin gave a server 500 error.

I am afraid to update now as this happened to me before a year ago and the site was down for hours until I recovered old version by FTP transfer

It seems to be multiplying the taxable amount (shipping) by 1.21 twice instead of once.. I wonder is there a line of code I can edit?

Otherwise I will have to spend a few days making a shadow site to convert to latest wordpress version and update or remove each plugin one by one until it works.
Even then there is no guarantee the latest version is the cause/solution so a quick fix seems the ideal solution?

I really would be delighted to resolve this long standing issue!

The tax is added by WooCommerce, not by our plugin, the plugin just parse the id, label, cost (rate), taxes (value ” or false) and calc_tax (value ‘per_order’).

Try to review your tax rates and update WooCommerce.

    Kind regards.
