Does it show your rates under woocommerce->tax->standard?

    Who is your hosting provider?

Can you email me your website link so I can take a look. You can get that from my website. Links to my site display in the plugin etc. From there you can send me an email.

Make sure for each item you create you are choosing a tax class. That was the problem for the OP… Taxes were calculating just fine. Just double check all of your woocommerce settings. Email me if you would like help.

Hi There . So I have been having an issue with your plugin only working some of the time . The issue is that all the Tax Spread Sheets I have found use a 5 digit zip code . The usps however has been using a 9 digit zip code . When customers enter 5 digits , it calculates tax . When they enter 9 , no tax is calculated and I lose a ton of money . I need you to fix this.

    Thanks

    Joe

You should start your own post…

The plugin is supposed to work with 5 digit zip codes, and by using the csv from taxrates.com. It’s not my problem if you are downloading some other csv files and trying to import them using this plugin.

No where does it say to import random csv files… It specifically says to download the csv file from taxrates.com and simply import it.

The problem you are having would be related to woocommerce so talk to them about it. All this plugin does is import tax rates based on zip codes from a csv file. Which the default is 5 digits… so if you are using a custom plugin to calculate shipping using 9 digit codes you are importing, then woocommerce needs to make a fix so that 9 digit zip codes are being calculated, or you need to modify the csv to have the same format columns as the taxrates.com csv as I am assuming you are importing some other random csv files that are not importing correctly because of the wrong format.

When a customer enters their 9 digit zip code ( Thats the standard zip code length for the United States ) It calculates nothing . Your plugin Ignores the first 5 numbers of the zip code if a customer enters their complete 9 digit zip code . If a customer enters only their 5 digit zip code , and leaves the last four numbers off , then it works . There is no wrong format , and these rates do come from TaxRates.com.
