    2 people from different states purchased a shirt and the taxes did not generate automatically and they were not charged.Is there something I need to do to set up taxes? I was under the understanding that the plugin would generate the tax from their shipping location. Please help

    Hi @dmorale1,

    If your store is based in the United States, the plugin will only collect sales tax from customers in the same state as your “tax nexus,” which typically means a physical presence. WooCommerce Services uses your store address (WooCommerce > Settings > General) as your “tax nexus.”

    This means that automated taxes will only be calculated for orders coming from the same state as the one you configured in your shop base address.
