I have added for example a shirt for €26.71 to my store, but when I go to tax options in woocommerce, and click “Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax” then its still €26.71 for the product, but on check-out it shows €23.21? When I want to display items in shop and enable “including tax”, its still €26.71. What am I doing wrong here?

I just want to show the prices inlcuded with tax on products in shop, so customers dont have an higher price when they go to checkout.

    Please help.

  • Also in tax options, further down, is another separate option: “Display prices during basket and checkout”, set to “including tax”.

@lorro Yes I know, I do everything included tax but it doesn’t show…

Its possible more information may reveal a clue. Could you please post links to screenshots of your WooCommerce settings tax tab > tax options sub page and standard rates sub page.

@lorro https://prnt.sc/mdgw1b this is the screenshot of tax options sub page. I have now set it like this, so people can see taxes because of the price display suffix, if I enable everything it just won’t show…

https://prnt.sc/mdgwux this is the screenshot from the standard rates.

If the customer shipping address is not one of the countries listed in the standard rates table, there will be no tax due. WooCommerce might not know that until a shipping address is entered. You can enable Geolocate which may help.

There are two GB lines. 20% is the correct one.

@lorro Yes I know that thanks, but I mean in my store, the prodcuts wont show with taxes. Its really stressing me out

What have you set for “Default customer location” on the General tab?

I have set, Shop Base Adress.

Its possible WC is waiting for a shipping address before it shows taxes. Do you get taxes after putting in a shipping address?

With your tax setup, taxes are going to be wrong as the customer browses the shop, unless he happens to live in a country with the same tax band as the shop. If you set the default customer location to Geolocate, at least WC has an idea of where the customer comes from and should show appropriate taxes. Geolocate won’t give the correct taxes for users who have an ISP outside their country or who browse whilst on a trip abroad.

    Okay thanks, but is it also possible to get it like this;

So for the first screenshot, it shows price without tax, and then because of the price display suffix, it shows the price included tax after it. I only want to show the price in the circle, and the prices with the X in it I just want that to be the price with a Circle around.

    https://prnt.sc/mdxh10

For the next screenshot, it doesn’t show prices with tax at all… only the price without tax, and I also want this to be price included tax.

    Hi @donuthing

Do you get the same result after switching back to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce? If not, then re-enable each one at a time until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.
