    Hello

I have a question, please. I got two orders with my new website, each invoice shows that the tax is zero, and the settings are correct, automated taxes. When I try to buy from my website for testing, I see the tax amount added to the order in the card total, so why is there zero tax in the invoice when someone buys from my website?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I made a purchase through my website, taxes were added and paid along with the product price

    Hi @orzdy

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that after placing an order on your site where you see the taxes is included, you are not seeing it in the invoice, correct?

As a first step, can you please share how invoices are added to your site as this is not part of the core functions of WooCommerce?

Meanwhile, for us to investigate this further, please share with us a screenshot of the following items below:

    • General Settings (WooCommerce > Settings > General)
    • Tax Settings (WooCommerce > Settings > Tax)
    • Tax Classes (Standard Rate, Reduced Rates, etc)
    • Order details
    • Invoice details

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Additionally, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I was adding an item to the cart and the tax is $0.00, then at checkout is $0.00 as well.

Please recheck if your taxes are configured according to our documentation here:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/

Can you navigate to WooCommerce > settings > tax > standard rates, and provide us a screenshot of your standard, reduced, and zero rate tax rates?

You can check the affected products, look for them in the back-end, edit one of them, check to see if they have a tax exemption class added:

Let us know what you find.

After watching the video, I added the rest of the states in the tax options. It’s starting to work, thanks a lot.

    Hello,

Glad to hear that. If you have a few minutes, we’d love it if you could share your experience with the community by leaving a review: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/

I’m going to mark this as resolved.

    Kind regards.
