    Hi,
We use the plugin with the DHL Xml service. The rates from the XML are exluded taxes.
On my woocommerce i have checked that the basic tax rate is applied on shipping. So when the customer is going to buy something then the shipping cost is 13,08€ (10,55 from DHL XML and 24% Tax Rate). That’s correct!
But when the customer wants an invoice and has a valid VIES VAT number then the shipping cost appears without tax (10.55) even if i have choose tax = none on your plugin settings.
Please note that this happens only if the shipping rates are from DHL XML service.
In case i will put manually the shipping cost then the taxes are removed only from the products and not from the shipping

    Hi @rooftopmovies,

To troubleshoot it further, could you please provide some screenshots with your shipping methods configuration?

    Thank you.
    Best regards,

    Hi @rooftopmovies,

By DHL XML you mean this particular service – https://wpdesk.me/ls/ij5zh.jpg ?

What’s responsible for VIES VAT validation in your shop? It seems that some other tax-related plugin you are currently using might be interfering here.

    Kind regards,
    Luke

    Hi,
Now i haven’t checked particular service. I’m using the XML service as the plugin requires.
Yes we have a plugin that asks you on checkout page if you want a receipt or invoice. In case you will choose receipt then all the costs from the DHL are correct with that VAT. But if you will choose invoice and you have a valid VIES VAT number then all the taxes are being removed.

    Thanks, Bill

Thank you for your reply and the clarification. From what you have written it looks like the plugin you are using at the checkout for choosing the receipt or an invoice might be the overwriting somehow the originally set tax rates.

Have you checked if the problem occurs as well when you switch this plugin to the different one with similar functionalities in order to exclude it is the one messing with the taxes?

    Kind regards,
    Luke
