TaxJar Taxing on Shipping

In our current WooCommerce environment we have the ability to turn on / off the tax-ability of the Shipping charges for UPS and the Table rates.

I see that TaxJar handles the calculation for taxing shipping based on location data. Is this a setting in TaxJar or an always-on feature? In other words once we implement TaxJar will the settings in Woocommerce for UPS and Table rates be ignored?
