When I set up a new post type – it appears in /wp-admin/nav-menus.php

I checked the settings and all of them looks the same as in elder post types…

I saved permalinks but the issue still exists.. ;(

Try just editing and re-saving your post types and taxonomies that you already have registered. I’ve been seeing weird issues with this and just saving again has fixed for others. I need to sit down and debug this sometime, because I have no idea why it’s happening.

Sorry for the delay, was away on company retreat, but am back now. Any new developments with this?

    Hi,
Michael – there’s still issue with taxonomies and post types.
You won’t see it when building a menu.

Thanks for the fix in advance.

Well I need to figure out what’s going on first :P, stay tuned, I’ll see what I can do.

Could you verify that you still have the options in your wp_options table in the meantime. If I recall right, their option key names should be prefixed with something related to “UI”

    Thread Starter Mariusz Szatkowski

    (@motylanogha)

    Well I cannot see them.
There’s nothing like prefixed with UI. ;(

    either cpt_custom_post_types or cpt_custom_tax_types

Michael – sure, I’ve got them in wp_options

Even when I set up a new taxonomy – it appears in menu builder ( /wp-admin/nav-menus.php).
But elder post types/taxonomies are not appearing here.

Is this a live site that’s active? or is it a dev site by chance?

I’m curious to see how this is from the perspective of someone experiencing it, as I have yet to see it myself.

    Thread Starter Mariusz Szatkowski

    (@motylanogha)

    Yes it’s active.
I’ve already updated 3 plugins and it started to work! ??

Strange… must be a cache or something.. but w3cache dosn’t work with admin area…

    Anyway it works now!
