Taxonomies showing up in post type

Just go back to the taxonomy creator and modify the “Hierarchical:” true.

Categories are hierarchical, tag are not.

Thanks, that did the job. Now what I have is multiple contacts per supplier, and I’m looking to lay them out in a grid-type format. I’m creating a ‘category’ for each supplier, then a new entry can be made for each contact assigning them to the appropriate category (company)

How do I create the loop so that it shows all the information of each entry on the page?

You could use get_posts https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Template_Tags/get_posts so you don’t mess the general WP loop, and then add this in a custom page template.

Or create your archive-contacts.php file similar to archive.php – the custom post type archive, in witch case you don’t need get_posts.
