I am very new to this plugin and it seems that this is the plugin I am looking for as it supports WooCommerce Category Taxonomy. However, I don’t know how to get the WooCommerce Category to show up in the Media Library Categories column.

I was expecting the Att. Categories column to change to Product categories column as that is the taxonomy I chose to use in the list filter.

I did add the ‘Sweet-as-Pie’ images to the ‘Thanksgiving’ Product category.

I did notice that Att. Categories were also there. If your plugin does not support showing the selected taxonomy in the list, is there a way to sync Att. Categories with WooCommerce Category or import WooCommerce Category to Att. Categories?

If the plugin does none of the above, I would like to make this a feature request; I believe displaying the taxonomy chosen in the list filter should be what is displayed where the Media Library Categories column would be.

Thanks for the great plugin, I look forward to using its other features in the future.

Ah! I figured out that I customize the display (columns) on the Assistant page and not on the Library page. However, it would be nice to have that feature request for the Library page.

Is there a way to move the columns say for example have ‘Product categories’ just after ‘Title/Name’ in the Assistant page?

Thanks for your questions and for taking the time to find solutions before I could respond.

You wrote “it would be nice to have that feature request for the Library page”. Most people use the Media/Library screen in the “grid” mode, and MLA adds several features to that format. I developed the Media/Assistant screen as a superset of the Media/Library “list” mode, and adding features to that screen isn’t a priority for me.

You asked “Is there a way to move the columns say for example have ‘Product categories’ just after ‘Title/Name’ in the Assistant page?” Tasks like these are easily handled by another plugin:

    Admin Columns – WordPress plugin | www.ads-software.com

I have worked with their developers to ensure that the Media/Assistant screen can use all of the features of the free version as well as the additional features offered in the Pro version. Give it a try!

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions regarding the customization of the Media/Assistant screen. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
