Taxonomy file

  • taxonomy page in themes keep crashing. It has crashed two sites now once they have been completed. I immediately update to 3.0 when prompted. I am a bp geek to so a lot of my sites are bp’s, latest version used. I set up a bp site for one of my projects at tweetthisplease.com. Currently it is forwarded to my facebook app because after 5 new complete installs and crashes, I got frustrated. Needing to get into seosupportbay.com to update info, I found that I had to do a new install because my admin page was completely gone. Can someone explain to me what’s going on? Is it a bug with the new wp version, the new bp version, both, neither, what?

  • what is the ‘taxonomy page in themes’? Is that a custom page you have?

    The new WP3.0 doesn’t have any bugs that should cause a crash
    The current version of BP isn’t considered compatible with WP 3.0, last time I checked. However, I have it on one of my installs with no problems.

    Guess that leaves the theme, or possible a plugin

    so should I use the last version of bp and see if that helps?

    Well, you should definitely be using the latest version. You may also want to check their site to see how full 3.0 compatibility is going…I know they are working on a new release.

    Are you using the same theme on each of the sites witha problem?
