Taxonomy Meta Info Doesn't show in post

I am a book blogger and have had someone set this up for me. She installed Yoast.In the “taxonomies List” there are things like author, series, publisher, most show up fine except “series” which is blank. All are set the same way.
Obviously I have either exceeded some limit, or there is a disconnect somewhere — Yoast is going to find things under “series” (and they list in the posts part of my dashboard) and they are not where Yoast expects them to be. Any ideas?
