Taxonomy question

  • Hi,

    I want to display the feed source name same way as the tags or categories in wp. What I did is I have created a new taxonomy which I named ‘Source’ and added items to it. Which is the way to link the items from this new taxonomy to the feed items from the multi-importer’s feed list?
    for ex: all posts from an ‘X’ named feed will have a source taxonomy named ‘X’.
    Is there a way to do this? I am using feed to post.

  • Been waiting on this a long time too. Keep turning away from the plugin with this as one of the main reasons. Hopefully Allen will see the value at some point.

    there is a show author or feed option in the autopost admin page, but this only works if there is in fact an author or feed tag…if there is no feed tag, it won’t work.

    I thought the OP was asking about assigning a taxonomy to an auto-post!

    the built in ‘show source’ in the autopost doesn’t do what I need unfortunately. If I add a custom taxonomy to a feed, is there a way to auto display this to each post coming out from that feed?
