taxonomy – sort by other than "Most Used"?

Greetings,

I am using WordPress more and more, and I’m finding that my list of (I believe it’s called) taxonomies is growing larger and larger. More specifically, I’m using a theme designed for churches from churchthemes.net, and one of the taxonomy categories is Sermon Series. As it would happen, the pastor tends to preach on one series for a few weeks. So when I add the weekly sermon to the website, I have to scroll thru the ever expanding list of sermon series. My only sort options are the default wordpress ones: “All Series” and “Most Used”. See

Is there any way to add a sorting category such as “Newest” (or “Most Recently Added”)? How difficult would it be? Is there a plugin that does it already?
