    Hi there

I like your plug-in, but have a problem I just can’t solve. To be honest, I think the problem is with me not the plug-in as such, since every one I’ve tried that uses the TCPDF engine gives the same trouble. But (as a beginning WordPress-user) I would love your help if you have an easy fix. Problem is that PDFs generate just fine, unless there is an image in the post. Then, the following happens:

TCPDF ERROR: [Image] Unable to get image: https://70.33.246.50/~north816/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/map-1024×784.jpeg

(The images URL does always load in a normal browser. Because the site is being developed, the link will not work live yet, we’ve protected the directory. Could this be a problem causing images not to load?)

I’ve googled and googled and have seen various users had related problems, but no solution yet for me. Any thoughts?
    Huge thanks,

    Seb

    Hi Seb,

that error has only two source
    1. Wrong URL for image or somehow its not accessible ( restriction may play some part here )
    2. You do no have writing permission for apache in wp post to pdf directroy ( cache directory especially inside TCPDF directory )

I reckon one of the above is true in your case. Can you make sure please?

    Regards,

Neerav, thanks for responding, you’re a gentleman!

You helped me solve the problem, which was of my own making. Images were in fact included if they were hosted elsewhere (which I hadn’t yet tested…), so the problem was at my end. I removed all folder protection, and voila, they now do load.

Thanks once more for taking the time – really appreciated!

    All best, Seb
