• I know how to enable the team links in my standings table, but is there a way to have the link for each team point to the local Sportspress-generated team page instead of the value I have entered into the team’s URL field?

    I’ll restate my request using example.com as an example.
    One of my teams might be New York and in the URL field would be newyorkexample.com
    I want to be able to go to my site’s standings page like example.com/standings
    On that page, each team will have a link to the local team page like example.com/team/newyork/
    And on that page, I have the URL option enabled so the button “Visit Site” appears and points to newyorkexample.com

    Is there a way to accomplish this? Or should I just remove the values from the URL field so I get the links I want on the standings page? I was hoping to be able to get both the standings to link to the local team page AND have the Visit Site link work on each team’s page.

    @novac thanks for your question!

    Any links to team pages will be overridden by the team’s site URL when:

    1. A site URL has been entered, and
    2. The team’s profile is empty.

    So, if you enter anything into the team’s profile, the team’s page will be linked instead of their site URL. I hope that makes sense ??

    OK, thanks. So I wrote the word “Test” into the body of one of the teams and it does point at the team’s local page now. Great.
    That created a new question, though: I don’t see the word “Test” anywhere on the team’s page on my site. What does adding info into the profile do exactly? Does that info appear anywhere on the site?

    I have similar issues. I have put html content to team’s page additional to the scores of matches that exist. The link of the page doesn’t display anything except logo of the team, in every case (with html content via the editor or with no content). Any solution how to display the team’s page with content?

    It’s considered impolite to take over someone else’s topic with your problem here.

    I am sorry for that but I considered it as similar issue and would like to contribute.

    @novac @olbktgh Absolutely. Visibility of team profiles can be toggled via SportsPress > Settings > Teams > Layout.

    Click the switch next to “Profile” to turn it on, then scroll down and click “Save Changes”. Let me know if that works ??
