    Hi!

    Thanks for reaching out!

Sure, you can create team manager users in the free version as well:

    Thanks!

That’s great news…however, I come with one more query with regards to this if you can oblige ??

Is there a way of restricting the user or users identified as Team Managers to only edit their teams results?

I’ve changed the capabilities of a user and it appears that it is an all or nothing situation, i.e. full access to the whole results list / no access.

What I’m trying to explain is:

Player A plays / manages Team A – Player A can only see and edit Team A’s results, not Team B, C, D etc.

Thanks Again for the support ??

    Hi!

    Thanks for your reply.

Sure, feel free to send as many questions as you want ??

As for the team manager, that’s how it works indeed. You can limit them to just one team.

The league manager, on the other hand, can edit all teams and leagues (all SportsPress data).

    Thanks!

    Hi Roch,

Sorry to be a pain. I’ve adopted one user to a “Team Manager” within a Team.

Unfortunately, it appears that they have the ability to access all other teams results and not just their team,

i.e. Team A Manager can access Team B results

How do you limit it to one team?

    Thanks

    Hi!

Oh, I believe what you mean is when adding events.

That’s how it works indeed. If you don’t want to give them any access at all then you’d need to block their access from the events section (using a different plugin) then use frontend forms for score submission.

    Thanks!

    Hey Roch,

I’m revisiting this as our previous competition ended.

When you say, front end forms, is this something available within Sportspress?

You’ll have to forgive me for the Naivety; the blocking of users is fine, i have a plugin, but regards the frontend forms – doing some reading, is this Pro version only?

    Thanks

    Hi!

    Thanks for your reply!

“When you say, front end forms, is this something available within Sportspress?”
That’s correct, but this is a Pro feature. When you activate the Pro version you’ll see the options to add front-end forms for your events, and also select who can submit scores (users, team managers, league managers).

    Thanks!
