Because there is no field for a Supervisor, I’m using the excerpt field for this information. When using the Team table layout, I would like to show the title of the column as Supervisor and no excerpt. Is there a way to do this?

Edit the block in the Block Editor, click the Display Details panel, enable Show Title and disable Display Excerpt. Save the changes.

Edit the supervisor entries and add “Supervisor” to the Title field.

I hope this helps, please let me know.

I think I didn’t explain myself very well. The employees already have a title for example (Technician), and by Supervisor I mean the name of the person in charge. There is no field for Supervisor, so I’m showing this on the Excerpt field. What I want to change is the text of the column where it says Excerpt.

    Apologies, I understand now.

Unfortunately, that string is one with the translation issue. I “hard-coded” it instead of making it translation-ready. This will be corrected in the next maintenance release.

After that update, you will be able to use the Say What? plugin to change it.

    Example:

    Original text: Excerpt
    Text domain: connections
Text context: team block table header
    New string: Supervisor

I hope this helps, please let me know.

The latest release should now allow you to use the Say What? plugin to make changes to the table header strings.

    I hope this helps!
