    Hi there!

I’ve been trying to figure out a solution for a week now but I’ve laid down my weaponry and I need help haha.

I’m running a mens rugby competition and this is how I’ve laid out sportspress.

    Competition Mens:
    Mens (parent)
    – Pool A
    – Pool B
    – Pool C
    – Pool D

    League Tables:

    Mens Table(parent)
    – Pool A Table
    – Pool B Table
    – Pool C Table
    – Pool D Table

I have few questions here. Is there a way where say, Teams from pool A could verse teams from Pool B and yet have the results still list out in a calendar/league table respective to it’s competition?

    E.G Pool A team defeats Pool B team: 10-5

And so, the Pool A league table would reflect the result by the winning points/played etc etc vice versa, Pool B league table.

Also, If I had two calendar lists specific to only it’s pools, can I show that one “cross-over-match” event in both lists?

Finally my last questions is… If I import 42 events for a pool without the results and then wait for the results to come and import it again but with the results, would the events be overridden but added with the results? or would it create duplicate events.

I’m in real urgency with this one as my competition starts in a months time.

Thank you for your awesome work ??

    Kind regards,
    Duy

    Hi!

You could try adding the match to a competition that one of the teams is not assigned to, but as far as I know this will assign the team automatically to that competition

“Also, If I had two calendar lists specific to only it’s pools, can I show that one “cross-over-match” event in both lists?”
If the previous assignment works that cross-over should work as well. But this one has to be tested ??

New events would be added. The import tool is unable to overwrite current items

Wow Thank you so much for your prompt and quick response!

An Idea came to mind but…

Is there a way in mobile view, to position: fixed the first two columns of a league table, that way people don’t lose sight of the teams/positions? Or would I have to customly style that myself?

Thank you again! I shall test your theory and see if that works ??

    Hi!

That’s a great idea! Please consider adding it to our ideasboard: https://tboy.co/ideas

Right now we don’t have this, and just adding position: fixed won’t do as the table would be in your screen all the time, a JS plugin is needed for this kind of job, so a bit of custom code is needed if this is a must-have for you.

    Kind Regards,
    -Roch

Since we haven’t heard back from you, I’ll set this one as resolved.

Please, let us know if you need anything else.

    Kind Regards,
