    Hi @k0pfweh,

So a Team (TeamA) can participate to LeagueA and LeagueB on the same Season (i.e. 2019)?
Did you try to assign those leagues to the TeamA? Then you can manual select which team will be shown to League Tables and Calendars. Is that not working for you?

    Thanks,

Team A ist playing in League “Division 2” in Season “2018” and is one of the top 3 Teams an gets promoted to League “Division 1” in Season “2019”.

Team B is playing League “Division 1” in Season “2018” and is one of the bottom 3 Teams and gets demoted to “Division 2” for Season “2019”.

    Hi @k0pfweh,

What you describe is actually doable with SportsPress. You should assign both “Division 1” and “Division 2” to both Teams. The same with “2018” and “2019”.

Then you will create a League Table of “Division 1 2018” where you will assign as league “Division 1” and season “2018”. You will also select “Custom” for team filtering and after first saving you will manually select the teams that were playing for this League this specific season (i.e. Team B). The same with “Division 1 2019”, “Division 2 2018” and “Division 2 2019”.

    Thanks,

    Thanks for the reply @savvasha,

am i getting this right, that i have to assign all teams manually to a league table then?
this makes the whole league/season stuff assignments useless/needless.

so there is no need to create leagues and/or seasons at all, beacause the filters won’t work and display all teams that played in a division years ago.

can’t believe i’m the only one with this problem ??
is this behavior differnt in the pro version?

    anyway i will give it a try…

    Hi @k0pfweh,

Actually you are right and… wrong at the same time ??
It is true that in League Tables you should manually select the particpating teams if you are using leagues and seasons in the format of “Division1, Division2,…” and “2018,2019,…”. This is actually how WordPress Taxonomy works. But it is not true that the Leagues and Seasons are useless. The need to assign Leagues and Seasons to the Teams is still there, because in that way you can correlate Teams with Players and Staff for each League and Season.

    Thanks,
    Savvas
