Teams with the same names

  • We have in all Youth Divisions almost the same names. Now creating a new Event I don’t have any chance to see which team belongs to which league even I choose a league it doesn’t show just the teams which belong to the league. Is there any solution for this “problem”. To rename the teams can’t be a solution.

    League Mite with 4 Teams
    Canadiens (Red)
    Flyers (Orange)
    Leafs (yellow)
    Jets (sky blue)

    League Tyke with 4 Teams
    Leafs (white)
    Canadiens (Red)
    Rangers (Navy Blue)
    Jets (Skyblue)

    League Novice with 4 Teams
    Jets (Sky Blue)
    Leafs (Royal Blue)
    Canucks (Green)
    Flyers (orange)

    Hi Gabriela,

    It’s great to see you here!

    The first question is why you have many teams with the same name. If you want to simply create a branch of a team, you could create the youth team as a child of the parent, and that would help you figure out which one is which.

    In short, we really have no easy way to load more data for the teams (apart from the name), so we need to figure out a way to organize your data (or maybe even yes, rename teams) so you can load the right ones for your events.

    Thanks for your answer – to the problem also will be if I get the Pro Version? It’s historic that the teams have the same name through all leagues. But I have to talk with the Leagues officials.

    What do you mean with build a child of the parents? I build already the Parents – Child relation when I built up the Leagues.
