Teaser Image with most recent post

  • Hi there, I’ve got a rather ambitious goal for my blog and am wondering if you all could advise me on where to begin.

    I would like a plug in that lets me upload a picture in the “write post” view and then associates that image with the post for good in the edit screen.

    I would then like a tag I can put into my template that will display just the image associated with the latest post wherever I place the tag.

    Any thoughts? I’m running WP 2.0. Alex King’s WP Photos was looking promising but it appears to be only for 1.2. Not sure how to alter the install directions for 2.0.

    Are there other plug-ins out there that do this sort of thing? The key is in uploading the image and then having it display whereever the tag is. That’d be ideal.

    kiwi uses a couple of plugins which you might be able to get to do what you want.

    the kiwi image plug in is pretty much exactly what I want. but there’s no install directions, no support that I can see and it doesn’t appear to work with WP 2.0. ??

    Any others out there?
