We do not permit non members to view the calendar. If I use the link shown on the dashboard, the calendar page cannot be edited in wordpress to set the visibility status to private. This is a disqualifying security failure for us.
Is there a way to protect the calendar so that only logged in users may view it?

    Thank you for reaching out.
You are right the calendar does not use a typical WordPress page.

But that doesn’t mean that you can’t make a members-only calendar.
A good starting point is the following article.

We would prefer not to have custom code in our functions file as much as possible.
Can you explain why the plugin does not have a setting for this feature?

    Hello @mshragesnetnet,

For the events page, our plugin doesn’t use a typical page to display your events, but rather, a collection of templates to generate the calendar views. Because of this, the WordPress visibility settings for pages and posts don’t work for the events page.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards,

    Marho
