• Hey all,

a few weeks ago, we moved our website to a new provider. Ever since, there was a problem accessing one of our many subpages in the backend. Whenever we click on “Edit”, doesn’t matter if with the classic or Gutenberg editor, we receive the following message:

The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

However, we reveice no such email.

The first few days it was possible to access it, if you set the wordpress language to English instead of German, but even that doesn’t work anymore.

Since we can’t figure out the problem after many hours of looking for it, I thought I could turn to you for help.
Thanks in advance and kind regards!

Check you PHP error log and resolve any errors listed. Hopefully you can identify the offending plugin by the files mentioned.

If all else fails, disable all plugins and switch to twentynineteen theme. You should be able to access the page now. Restore your theme and plugins, one module at a time, checking for the page after each. When you get the difficulties message again, the last activated module is the cause. Take up the issue with the responsible author.
