**Important: Technical Support Is Now A Premium Feature

As of 23rd November 2017, we have changed the way we offer support for the Shield Security plugin.

As the number of people using Shield increases, so does our support burden. We have resisted adding a paid tier, but we’re left with little choice if we want to continue developing and supporting the plugin for the long term.

But we’ve made the barrier to entry very low, so that everyone can support the plugin and it scales perfectly. We’re offering Shield Security Pro for a tiny $1/month – i.e. $12/year.

Shield Pro also comes with extra features that aren’t in the free plugin. We’re sticking by our position which is to, wherever possible, keep all core security features free. But we’ll be adding many more bells and whistles for the Pro customers, to make their WordPress security more compatible with other plugins, as well as just downright easier to manage.

We’re offering Shield Pro through our One Dollar Plugin platform where you’ll find our growing portfolio of professional plugins.
